Muxedo is a native SSH terminal for iPhone, built around tmux — a real terminal multiplexer in your pocket.

Everything runs on your device. Muxedo speaks SSH natively: no relay server in the middle, no account to create, and your keys never leave your phone.

A tmux TERMINAL, NOT A SINGLE SHELL
The "mux" in Muxedo is the point. Run many sessions and windows side by side, split panes, and move between them with a tap or a swipe. Your layout is a first-class part of the app — session and window management, split panes, and full tmux mouse and scrollback support, all tuned for touch.

SESSIONS THAT WAIT FOR YOU
With tmux, your work outlives the connection. Lock your phone, close the app, or drop signal in a tunnel — reconnect and every window and pane is exactly where you left it, mid-command. Nothing to set back up.

A TERMINAL YOU CAN ACTUALLY TOUCH
Native text selection, momentum scrollback, pinch-to-zoom, and tap-to-open URLs and file paths. Swipe between tmux windows and jump to a session with a tap — an interaction model designed for a screen, not bolted onto one.

FIX ERRORS BEFORE YOU CAN GOOGLE THEM
When a command fails, one tap sends the output for a diagnosis and a fix — using Apple's on-device intelligence, or your own Claude or Gemini key. Nothing is sent unless you ask.

BOOT LINUX ON YOUR PHONE (LABS)
As an experimental Labs feature, Muxedo can boot a small Linux machine right on your device — a real, fully offline scratch box with a shell and package manager, that needs no server at all.

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE
Credentials live in the iOS Keychain behind Face ID. Host keys are pinned and verified, failing closed if a key ever changes. Optional iCloud sync is end-to-end encrypted with a key only you hold — no vendor cloud, no subscription, no account.

YOUR FILES, IN FILES
Your SSH hosts appear as locations in the Files app over SFTP — browse and open remote files anywhere iOS offers a file picker.

Muxedo is designed to collect nothing about you.

NO SERVERS, NO COLLECTION
Muxedo connects directly from your device to the servers you choose. The developer of Muxedo has no servers in that path and never receives, sees, or stores your data, credentials, keystrokes, or session content.

DATA ON YOUR DEVICE
Your saved hosts, SSH keys, and passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device, protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. If you turn on iCloud sync, that data is stored in your own iCloud account, end-to-end encrypted with a key derived from your master password — Apple cannot read it, and neither can we.

NO ACCOUNT
Muxedo has no sign-up and no user profile.

NO ANALYTICS OR TRACKING
Muxedo contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and no third-party tracking. It does not use the Advertising Identifier.

OPTIONAL AI FEATURES
If you use the "fix / explain" feature with a third-party provider (Claude or Gemini), only the terminal output you explicitly choose to send is transmitted from your device to that provider under your own API key, subject to that provider's privacy policy. Apple's on-device option sends nothing off the device. Nothing is ever sent unless you tap to send it.

Muxedo is a developer tool and is not directed to children.

Still to do in App Store Connect (by hand): upload screenshots (iPhone 6.5"/6.9"), add a build, set the age rating (Unrestricted Web Access = Yes → 17+, everything else None), App Privacy = Data Not Collected, and the Widget App-Group portal click.

Heads-up: the version there is 1.0 but the app build is 2.9.838 — they must match, so set the code to 1.0 before uploading.
